This spacious and characteristic villa in Spanish style that can accommodate up to 8 persons is located on one of the most beautiful plots of the private resort of Cas Abao. Due to its unique location, almost on top of the mountain, the view from the villa is truly breathtaking! From the open kitchen and the open living room you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea and the beautiful San Juan Nature Reserve. The green hills and the salt pans next to the villa are home to a large Flamingo family. A spectacular view that never bores!
This spacious villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a spacious porch with amazing views, a cozy palapa with Green-Egg BBQ, countless fine terraces and seating areas and, of course, a wonderfully cooling swim spa from which you also have fantastic panoramic views of the Caribbean sea and its beaches. A fantastic place with lots of peace, space and privacy to recharge your batteries and enjoy all the beauty that Curaçao has to offer! Layout
Through a cozy patio where you can enjoy the morning sun, you enter the spacious living room with two Chesterfield sofas and a convenient open kitchen. The rear of the house consists almost entirely out of hardwood sliding doors that can be opened completely over the entire width of the house. Fully opened they offer unobstructed views of the sea and the nature reserve, creating one large indoor/outdoor area. From the living room you walk through to the spacious covered porch and the various lower terraces.
The backyard behind the house, the porch and the terraces face the wind very favorably and offer a pleasant sea breeze. The porch offers a lovely place to sit in the shade for most of the day. Towards the end of the day, when the sun sinks nicely into the sea, you can still enjoy the sun here if it is not too strong. Still too much sun? Then the porch is fitted with white curtains that keep out the bright sun and at the same time offer a Caribbean feel when they dance gracefully in the sea breeze.
Kitchen
The Spanish Villa has a spacious and practical open kitchen with a large 4-burner gas stove and XXL American fridge with 2 large freezer drawers. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes:

Bedrooms
This villa has a total of 4 bedrooms. It features 2 bedrooms with a four posted Kingsize bed and 2 bedrooms with two single beds each. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The master bedroom with own large bathroom is located on the 1st floor and has patio doors that lead to a private balcony with stunning views. The perfect place to spot exotic birds or admire the flamingos.
The other 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor. One of these has its own bathroom, the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom.
Garden
The plot of 1300 m2 / 0,32 acres is beautifully walled and offers all the privacy you wish for during a relaxing holiday. Through the automatic gate at the front, you enter the property with tropical plants and ample parking space.
At the rear of the house, around the pool deck, you will find the large palapa. Under this tropical gazebo made from palm leaves, you will find a cozy dining area with 8 seats, a sturdy concrete table and a barbecue area with Green Egg Barbecue.
There are 2 pools one which can be used as a jacuzzi/lounch pool and the other one is perfect for a little swimming with his size of 11mtrs by 5mtrs. This has a deeper and a slight shallower part. This pool has a verry wide viewing over the nature and most of the time you can spot flamingo’s from the water.

Cas Abao
The Spanish villa is a 3-minute drive from the beautiful beach of Cas Abao, also called Bon Bini Beach. Cas Abao Beach has a beautiful white sand beach and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches on Curaçao. The beach has even been named ‘One of the 21 best beaches in the world’ by National Geographic. With beautiful palm trees, beautiful rocks, large palapas, white sand and clear blue water, it is an ideal beach for swimmers of all ages. The reefs are a true paradise for snorkellers and divers. For the little ones it is a nice beach with a gently sloping depth and only a few pebbles and stones. Nevertheless, it is advisable to always take water shoes with you. In the Caribbean most beaches have lines of stones and pebbles in front of or in the sea.
Cas Abao Beach is a full-service beach with various facilities such as a cozy Beach Bar, showers and changing rooms, shaded areas (under the palapas) and a diving school. You can even go there for a relaxing massage! Cas Abao Beach is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Are you looking for a smaller beach? At 500 meters from the villa, at the beginning of the district, there is also a small private beach which belongs to the Cas Abao resort.
Safety
Safety is also well thought of. The villa is located in a gated community and is therefore very safe. During the day there is security at the entrance to the district. In the evening the gate closes and you can only enter the neighborhood with an access pass or 4 digit code that opens the automatic gate.
Surroundings
There are several supermarkets and a number of very good restaurants in the area. The nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away, for major shopping you can go to the Carrefour Market or Centrum Supermarket in Piscadera, both 20 minutes away. Thanks to its central location you are within 20 minutes at the airport of Curaçao and within 25 minutes in the island’s capital Willemstad. Here you will also find an Albert Heijn supermarket.
Community Cas Abao is located on the road to Westpunt and thanks to its central location is a fantastic base to visit other beautiful beaches such as Playa Porto Marie, Daaibooi Beach, Playa Jeremi, Playa Lagun, Grote Knip Beach or Kleine Knip Beach.
Rental car
We can also provide you with a rental car at this accommodation. It is also possible that we provide you with a shopping package on the day of arrival. In this way you can enjoy your well-deserved holiday immediately upon arrival!
